Ayurvedic Consultations

Ancient holistic science from India teaches healthy lifestyle and dietary choices to support a unique self-healing process. Ayurveda utilizes practices such as mindfulness, strengthening digestive health, balanced food preparation, internal cleansing, breathing exercises and using herbs to improve health.


Community Acupuncture

Traditional Asian acupuncture is practiced in a group setting. At Taos Whole Health we bring back this tradition by grouping comfortable recliners in a peaceful, shared space. This allows us to bring you high quality health care at an affordable price.

In community acupuncture we use points on you arms, legs, head, and ears; allowing you to remain fully clothed. In addition, community acupuncture is a convenient way for friends and family members to get treatments together. Usually people stay 30 minutes to an hour, you are welcome to stay as long or as short as you like.


Core Synchronism

A gentle therapy rooted in balance techniques aimed to bring the mind and body together to relieve stress, blockages and physical pain with hand medicine (the laying on of hands).


Craniosacral Therapy

Deep unwinding and release of fascial restrictions throughout the body used to relieve conditions such as chronic pain, mental stress, headaches, neck and back pain, fatigue, sleep disorders and emotional imbalance. It is a gentle therapy performed on a treatment table or floor mat while fully clothed.


Behavioral Health Group Therapy

 

Many of us are ailing from lack of social connection. These groups will provide that and more: accountability, motivation, and inspiration. You will learn an abundance about the brain, helpful tools to supplement your health, about yourself, and about each other. Some groups are topic based on a 12 week rotating curriculum - 3 months to take advantage of the neuroscience for optimizing habit formation and “leveling up” the quality of your life.

Shiatsu

In the Japanese language, shiatsu means "finger pressure." Shiatsu techniques include massages with fingers, thumbs, feet and palms; assisted stretching; and joint manipulation and mobilization. Shiatsu is a physical therapy that supports and strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal and balance itself. It works on the whole person - not just with the physical body, but also with the psychological, emotional and spiritual aspects of being. It is a stimulating massage, invigorating type of massage therapy.


Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy utilizes yoga postures, breathing, meditation, and philosophies to improve mental and physical health. Just as no two people are exactly alike, no yoga therapy care plan is identical. Yoga therapy strives to align the body with its ideal health and been found to be beneficial to a wide variety of ailments ranging from pain management to anxiety and depression.
