New integrative clinic offers open house

August 30, 2017 (TAOS, NM) -- The Taos community can now find a wide spectrum of medical services under one roof at Taos Whole Health, a new integrative care clinic offering Eastern & Western Primary Care, which opened in April, and is now accepting patients.

The team of nine providers—including Co-Medical Directors Dr. Lilly-Marie Blecher, ND, DOM, and Dr. Joanna J. Hooper, MD— will show off the new clinic, and their breadth of services, during an Open House on Friday September 15th from 3-8pm.

Throughout the Open House the clinic will offer complimentary mini-services—including acupuncture treatments, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, and various styles of massage therapies—tours of the facility, and complimentary food and drink.

With their new clinic, located at 1337 Gusdorf Rd. Suite O., Dr. Blecher and Dr. Hooper, have brought to fruition a dream long-held by both doctors: to offer patients access to collaborative, holistic healthcare under one roof.

“This clinic is designed to serve as an entry point for patients looking to discuss their individual risk factors, get current on annual exams, medications, and, most importantly find their own path to ultimate wellness,” said Sarah Ellis, Clinic Manager at Taos Whole Health.

“Regardless of individual health challenges, or preferences in modality, our clinic and team of providers can help patients plan for improved or sustained wellness,” said Dr. Hooper. “We don’t just offer the a spectrum of approaches to care, we also work to provide coordination and communication between the disciplines. We think this is the best way to get to the root of illness and treat the whole person.”

Taos Whole Health is a new medical home for the Taos Community providing a range of family medicine, therapeutic exercise classes, energetic healing  and wellness workshops to the community.
