Oriental Medicine is an ancient art and science of medicine that uses observations in nature to understand, interpret, diagnose, and treat human physiology and pathology.
The five elements, six stages, yin and yang, jing, qi and shen, eight extraordinary vessels, twelve meridians and many more, are profound paradigms that allow Doctors of Oriental Medicine to understand subtleties in health and disease, allowing us to treat both standard Western diagnoses and also imbalances that don’t fit in any one Western diagnosis.
Oriental Medicine treats the individual, and there is no health condition that cannot be addressed or supported with Chinese Medicine. Chinese herbal formulas, Acupuncture, Moxabustion, and massage are the primary tools used to treat disease and create optimal balance in the individual. Thousands of years of clinical evidence, as well as thousands of modern clinical studies support and confirm the effectiveness and advanced science of Chinese Medicine.
